Égalité!

Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité! 

Never before has this motto been so important as on this 14 of July. As in 1789 the French citizenship fought for their rights, the gay community of Argentina is doing the same on this historic day in 2010.

Tomorrow on the 14 of July of 2010 the Argentine Senate will vote on the new law that will allow the LGTB community to attain full rights in the eyes of the law, where gays, lesbians, transgender, and bisexual people will be able to marriage, adopt, inherit, and be covered by the law in every situation.

I know it's not common for me to post things like this, but being as important as it is I thought I should, being that this law involves my own rights as well.

So... I hope tomorrow on July 14th, we'll be able to yell, Equality! and not because we are asking for it, but rather because we finally have achieved it.

Nunca antes en la historia ha sido tan relevante esta frase como en este 14 de julio. Como en 1789 la ciudadanía francesa luchó por sus derechos, la comunidad gay de Argentina hará lo mismo en este dia histórico del 2010.

Mañana en el 14 de julio del 2010 el Senado Argentino votará a favor o en contra de la ley de igualdad que dará a la comunidad LGTB completa igualdad ante los ojos de la ley, donde gays, lesbianas, transexuales y bisexuales podran casarse, adoptar, tener herencia de sus parejas y estar cubierto por la ley en todos los ámbitos de la vida.

Se que no es común que yo publique cosas asi en este blog, pero por la importancia que tiene esta ley y como incluye mis propios derechos decidí postearlo.

Entones... espero que mañana en el 14 de julio podremos gritar ¡Igualdad! y no porque estamos reclamandolo, sino, porque por fin lo hemos logrado.
