Christian Lacroix Forever

CHRISTIAN LACROIX FOREVER

Christian Lacroix

The Christian Lacroix fall 2009 Haute-Couture collection may be his last, if he doesn't find new investors that believe in him. He describes it as a sketch or the drawing of a painting, but even so, they are just as beautiful.

Christian Lacroix finished this collection with a very low budget, with his team being reduced from more than 100 to simply 12 assistants, artisans working for free, models only receiving 50 euros and shoes loaned by Frisoni, these were the challenges that Monsieur Lacroix had to overcome to finish his designs, with the help of  his friends and followers.

Christian Lacroix is a survivor, with rumors that he might join LVMH again, the company with which he launched his brand in the 80s, being that he was seen smilling and sitting next to Delphine Arnault at the Givenchy show.

Whatever happens, Lacroix has to go on, being that it's one of the most influential and innovative fashion houses today, giving the fashion world true works of art and new points of view every season.

CHRISTIAN LACROIX FOREVER.
